Study Confirms Neuro Effect Of Covid

Up to one third of patients who survived Covid have been diagnosed with a psychiatric or neurological condition, according to findings from a University of Oxford study of over 230,000 people.  Researchers found that nearly half of patients requiring intensive hospital care were diagnosed with a psychiatric or neurological condition within 6 months of getting Covid. Patients who sustained damage to their brain called an encephalopathy are at the highest risk of developing a psychiatric condition.  The full study was published in Lancet Psychiatry.
